Float Inc. participation in the ORECCA 2nd Workshop
Float Inc. presented the Offshore Ocean Energy System during the second public ORECCA workshop “Outlining the Vision for Future Renewable Energy Conversion Platforms in Europe”. ORECCA workshop was held on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th June 2011 in Milan, Italy.

Float Inc’s Offshore Ocean Energy System concept is designed and patented to exploit the renewable resources of the oceans (Wind, Wave and Ocean Currents) in the same structure (PSP).
The Offshore Ocean Energy System concept, was presented and discussed as a response to the EUROPEAN UNION MARINA PLATFORM project, researching a technological base for the efficient development in technical and economic terms of deepwater platforms that integrate (in a single infrastructure) a range of energies such as wind, wave, or sea currents.

Float Inc. really appreciates Alfredo Pozo, a Spanish graphic designer, his collaboration in the website update process and the improvements in our designs, his extensive knowledge of computer-aided design and experience are remarkable. Security Port
Float Inc. is working with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) and several of our associates to examine the feasibility and develop the design of offshore security ports. These are intended to provide inspection of all ship-borne containerized cargo entering in the U.S. in order to assume security against WMDA. Three prestigious university business schools have favourably evaluated the commercial economy of such an operation. The project, named “Portunus” is based on the Float Inc. PSP and would be fitted with “Rho-Cee” WEC and wind turbines for much of its power load
